How It Works...KA Sat, a new state of the art satellite Launched in 2010, to offer affordable and super fast broadband to the whole of europe and beyond, where infastructure for super fast broadband services was lacking, this satellite employs the use of many spot beam footprints, each covering a small area, instead of one large footprint covering a vast area in older telecoms satellites. This allows for many times the amount of bandwidth as the bandwidth is split per spot beam instead of shared by one large footprint.

MicroNet uses a small dish which you install at your premises, either via an easy DIY pack with full instruction video and telephone support, or by one of our installers, no telephone line is required as the satellite system both sends and receives, simply plug the dish into your satellite box and your ready to surf at at an amazing 10Mbit/s Download speed, and 4 Mbit/s upload speed... its that simple..
